OK need some help. I finally got the old charging port off and in the process of getting more the of old solder off and heating it with the air thing the nearby square chip got loose. At this point I stopped everything not to make anything worse but I am not sure if I messed the other parts of? It says R2R on the small chip and its connected to another 2 small squares right at the tip of the motherboard. On the bright side i found a small nozzle attachment that goes on the air blower and was able to clean out the small holes where the charging port goes. Now how do i fix the otehr thing?

Thought it was the glass you replaced, but you just replaced the whole front end and frame.

as a full time phone repair tech myself i gotta recommend please dont use b7000 glue to glue the screen down, clean all old adhesive off of the frame, and clean the frame very well with alcohol until there is no more glue or residue. b7000 may work just fine for adhering the screen to the frame, the issue is that it makes it a lot harder to fix the next time it breaks, it is very hard to clean up once dried and sometimes needs to be scraped away with a blade and doesnt wipe away with alcohol like a tape adhesive would. the best thing would be to find an oem like precut tape or get a roll of tesa double sided tape and lay down the new adhesive by hand making sure to only lay it where original adhesive was. it does take a bit more work but its totally worth it to the quality of the repair and makes it easier if you ever need to open the phone back up for a battery replacement or another screen replacement. i have nothing else to change the rest of your video was great and im really enjoying your videos. i look forwards to new uploads

I put money into like service so that they will repeal it but then it cost €200 and no I’m not buying that so I just wanted to video I don’t want to gonna do with it but we will see and yeah maybe I will just put it to my uncle because he can fix it he can fix it without the problem like I did I literally fixed the phone without you because I want so many videos that I bought and everything needs replaced

I dropped my phone in the toilet.. took the back off to try and dry it and disconnected the orange cable.. How do i reconnect it without the tools to take the screws out?

I’m beyond pissed rn man I don’t know why i used this exact video to fix my daughter’s iPad. You LITERALLY MESSED UP by not letting everyone know to disconnect the battery first before removing any CABLES! I found this video first and thought the knowledge was there and started the process but now I’m crap outta luck cos when I tried to turn on the iPad before slapping the digitizer back on it won’t even start up at all. Then I started watching other videos of ppl doing it and the FIRST THING they did was make sure the battery wasn’t connected before removing any cables.

Hii! I need a bit of advice. So my tablet's not charging properly. Ive tried switching cables but nothings working. And whenever i put it to charge the battery goes down instead of up. The battery also dies really quick. I mean it goes down in a few seconds. Im not sure what to do anymore

Is a somewhat wiggly usb c charge cable for the a8 normal? I figure they're designed like that to avoid being broken by being too stiff.
